Agenda: Contest date: Sunday, April 15, 2018

*****Please have all model and contestant packet information completed before arrival! (Model Release Form, Model Photo & Video Release Form, Contestant Release Form, Contestant Photo & Video Release Form)

8:30am-8:50am- Arrive promptly at the Casal Aveda Institute in Austintown at 6000 Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, Ohio 44515. *We ask respectfully that only contestants and their models enter the building. Family and friends, we will see you at the show!

Check-In will occur at this time. During Check-In Contestants and Models will then be given a space that they will be working at for the day. While the Contestant is preparing their space each model will report to the area that the “Before Photo” will be taken at.

9:00am-11:30am- Contestant will take this time to prepare their model. Please note there will be no shampooing, coloring, cutting or chemically texturizing hair on this day. Models are to be styled only using products that are provided by the contestant. Food will also be provided to contestants & models. Please make sure to eat something as you will only be through half of your day.☺

11:30am-12:00pm- Everyone will clean up their areas and leave for The Davis Center located at 123 McKinley Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44509. Doors will open at 1:30pm for all family and friends attending the Competition and Fashion Show!

12:00pm-12:30pm- Stage Practice. We will be completed on stage by 12:30pm. Judges will be arriving and all models will need to be in their staging room.

1:30pm- Contestants’ models will be prejudged in the classroom prior to going to present looks on stage to compete.
1:30pm- The doors open to the public. Please invite family and friends. $10 tickets/ donations at the door. 2:00pm- Start of show! Welcome, Meet the Judges and Scholarship Competition begins!

3:00pm-3:30pm- Conclusion of Contest & Winners Announced- One Esthetics and One Cosmetology Scholarships.

Be prepared when you arrive to have with you a signed waiver for the Contestant AND the model. If your model is under the age of 18 their parent’s signature must be on the waiver in order to compete. Both waivers are included in the website documents!

Again, please invite any of your friends and family to attend the Scholarship Competition and Earth Month Fashion Show! Price of admission is $10.00, all monies will be donated to Casal Aveda Institute’s Earth Month Fund Partnering With The Sierra Club of The Mahoning Valley. This will help keep our water clean! Contestants and Models do not have to pay at the door, just invited guests.
