Today, we’re proud to congratulate Jessica Rohm, a 2014 Casal Aveda Institute graduate, on the opening of Laurel House Beauty & Wellness Suites in downtown Columbiana!
Recently featured in The Business Journal, Jessica is creating opportunities for fellow beauty and wellness professionals to pursue business ownership while continuing to grow her own entrepreneurial career.
A Career Rooted in Beauty and Entrepreneurship
With more than a decade of industry experience, Jessica carries forward a family tradition as a third-generation beauty professional and fourth-generation Youngstown-area business owner. After graduating from Casal Aveda Institute in 2014, she became co-owner of Salon Anthurium in 2019.
Her experience helped her recognize a need: independent professionals wanted affordable, flexible spaces where they could build their businesses. Laurel House brings that vision to life.
Creating Space for Others to Grow
Located at 204 E. Railroad St. in Columbiana, Laurel House offers private, customizable suites for hairstylists, estheticians, lash artists, massage therapists and other beauty and wellness providers.
The concept gives professionals room to establish their brands, personalize their spaces and set their schedules while avoiding the expense of opening an entire storefront. It’s an exciting example of how one person’s entrepreneurial vision can help others take their next step.
For our students and graduates, Jessica’s journey offers inspiration. A career in beauty can grow in many directions, from serving clients and developing a specialty to owning a business and creating opportunities for fellow professionals.
