At Casal Aveda Institute, we’re excited to share two scholarship opportunities that support the people shaping our industry: aspiring professionals and the educators who inspire them.
Offered through Beauty Changes Lives and funded by Pivot Point International and The Leo Passage Endowment Fund, the Leo Passage Scholarships celebrate creativity, leadership, and a commitment to education. Applications for the Fall 2026 season are now open!
For Students: The “Dare to Lead” Scholarship
Ready to turn your creativity into a career? The Leo Passage “Dare to Lead” Cosmetology and Barbering Student Scholarship offers two tuition scholarships of up to $7,500 each.
This opportunity supports eligible students who are enrolled in or accepted to a cosmetology, barbering, or equivalent hair-focused program. Applicants must demonstrate passion for their profession, commitment to education, and financial need.
One award is available to applicants at any eligible school or institution, while the other is reserved for an eligible student at a Pivot Point International Partner School.
For Casal Aveda Institute cosmetology students, this is an opportunity to explore financial support while reflecting on the creativity, determination, and leadership you hope to bring to your career.

For Educators: The “Pass it On” Scholarship
Inspiring others starts with continuing to grow yourself. The Leo Passage “Pass it On” Advanced Education for Educators Scholarship offers two awards of up to $2,500 each.
Designed for eligible practicing cosmetology and barbering educators, this scholarship supports advanced education that contributes to continuing education or career development.
It’s an opportunity to expand your skills, explore new approaches, and bring fresh knowledge back to the students whose futures you help shape.
